APPROVED SOFTWARE FOR ENERGY PERFORMANCE CALCULATIONS

The following software has been approved by the Department for Communities and Local Government for use in calculating the energy performance of buildings, for the purposes of Regulation 17A of the Building Regulations (Part L).

The table above shows the current versions of third party software interfaces of SBEM that are approved by CLG and which version of SBEM they relate to.
 
Approval may apply to later versions of listed software interfaces which use the same SBEM calculation engine.

  • IES 'Virtual Environment' software, Versions 5.5, 5.8, 5.9 (version 5.9 now complies with Section 6 of the Scottish building regs)
